Thank you to all that have taken the Properties' Survey. This document will summarize the results. 329 invitations were sent out and 161 of you responded.

Q1. Would you like to see a horseshoe pit built?

Almost half of those that responded said NO.

Q2. Would you like to see a bocce ball court built?

More than half of those that responded said NO.

Q3. Volleyball Court at Second Beach; Keep It/Improve It; Remove it.

84% of the responses want to keep it and improve it.

Q4. Would you like to see the basketball court improved?

52% of the responses were in favor of improving it.

Q5. Would you like to have some sort of shade structure to place picnic tables under at the following locations?

48% of the responses replied NO; 40% said YES to 2nd Beach; 25% said YES to 3rd Beach; 11% said YES to the ball field and 6% said YES to Little Beach.

Q6. Would you like the Association to provide beach umbrellas at all the beaches?

77% said NO.

Q7. Would you like more docks (not boat racks) built at the Association Beaches?

Almost half selected other Association properties along Lake Shore Drive. 40% of the responses voted for 1st & 3rd Beaches.

Q8. Would you like more boat racks built at the Association Beaches?

Leading vote getter was other Association properties along Lake Shore Drive but the responses from all showed an interest in all other beaches.

Q9. Would you like to see a fire pit built at any of the beaches?

63% of the responses were NO.

Q10. Would you like the ball field restored to a more usable condition?

57% of the responses were NO.

Q11. Would you like a community garden next to the ball field?

55% of the responses were NO.

Q12. Would you like to have a dog park next to the ball field?

60% of the responses said NO.

Q13. Would you like a fenced, secured storage area next to the ball field?

85% of the responses said NO.

Q14. Would you like a leaf pick up service scheduled?

75% of the responses were in favor of a pick up service with the majority wanting a service in both spring and fall.

Q15. Would you like to see a bulk waste pick up day?

65% of the responses said YES.

Q16. What other areas of the Association's property do you think need attention?

There are some items that received a lot of comments such as improving the basketball court and clearing the right of ways; better sand at the beaches; more weed control; improving the steps and ramp at 3rd Beach; blight issues; geese poop; more boat racks; leaf cleaning from beaches; improve LH Signage; better markings showing property owned by the Association; dog beach at 2nd Beach; improve sand at volleyball court; better cleaning of the beaches; remove grass from beach area; and repair backstop at ball field.

Q17. Do you have any other comments or ideas for the Properties Committee?

Reponses included: runoff from pavilion is causing sand to enter the lake; make wireless internet available; better signage (15mph) along Lake Shore Drive sharp curves; trim dead branches from trees along Lake Shore Drive; remove sick or dying trees; improve basketball court by cutting back shrubs and painting lines; more street lights; less lighting at tennis courts late at night; don't spend more money on things that require more maintenance; fencing along the dam area to prevent cars from parking there; maximize riparian buffers along Association lake front properties; a memorial garden only in memory of lake residents and a day where boat owners pick up trash from the shoreline and shallow waters.
