Basic Fat-Burning Soup

 

 

 

1 bunch green onions                                           

2 green bell peppers                                           

2 28-ounce cans tomatoes - stewed or chopped                   

1 bunch celery                                                 

1 cabbage                                                      

1 package Lipton onion soup mix                                

6 vegetable bouillon cubes                                     

2 cloves garlic                                                

3 bay leaves                                                   

 

Cut vegetables in small bite-size pieces.  Put all vegetables except tomatoes in pot.  Cover with water (about 8 - 10 cups).  Boil fast for 10 minutes.  Cut heat down and simmer for approximately 30 minutes until veggies are tender.  Add tomatoes and juice.  Bring to boil and heat thoroughly.  Add soup mix and simmer for 10 minutes.  May be seasoned with salt, pepper, parsley, curry, etc. to taste.
