Cheese Calzone

 

Serves: 4

 

 

1-pound ricotta cheese                                         

½ cup mozzarella cheese - shredded                           

½ cup Parmesan cheese                                        

Black pepper to taste                                          

Olive oil                                                      

 

Combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan and pepper. 

 

Roll out each ball of dough on a lightly floured surface into circles of about 9 inches in diameter.  On each circle of dough, spoon an equal portion of the cheese mixture.  Fold over the dough so the edges meet and seal the margin using a fork.

 

Place the Calzone on the baking sheet; brush them with olive oil and place in a preheated 425º oven for 30 minutes.
