Raisin Bran Muffins

 

Serves: 48

Recipe from Ann at the Salem Herb Farm

 

1 15-ounce package raisin bran cereal                          

2 1/2 cups sugar                                               

5 cups flour                                                   

2 teaspoons salt                                                

1 cup of vegetable oil                                            

1 quart of buttermilk                                             

 

Mix all dry ingredients together in large bowl.  Add in oil and buttermilk and mix well. 

 

Place batter into muffin pan and bake at 400º for 18 - 20 minutes. 

 

Mixture will keep for 6 weeks in refrigerator.
